Reed Dame

Kelly Dame
Executive Vice President

Reed Dame is President and Chief Executive Officer of Woodgrain Millwork, Inc.,  Reed graduated from BYU in Accounting in 1969. He then began work at a small family-owned business. Reed is a member of the National Advisory Council to the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.  He is a board member and founder of the Missionary Education Foundation.   Kelly Dame is Executive Vice President of Woodgrain Millwork, Inc.  Kelly graduated from Brigham Young University in Marketing and Finance in 1977.  Kelly is a chairman of the board at Holy Rosary Medical Center and serves on the Foundation Board of Treasure Valley Community College.  Kelly is also a frequent guest lecturer for the Center for Entrepreneurship at BYU's Marriott School of Management.

Steve Atkinson

Mike Ball
Vice President, Millwork Operations

Steve Atkinson is Chief Financial Officer of Woodgrain Millwork, Inc.  Steve graduated with an MBA from the University of Utah in 1975 and a BS from Brigham Young University in 1974. Steve has worked for several companies as Vice-President prior to coming to Woodgrain Millwork in 1991.      Mike Ball is the Vice President of the Millwork Division.  Mike graduated from Humboldt State University with a B.S. in Forest Management and also an MBA from Humboldt State University.  Mike has over eight years of sawmill experience and over 22 years of remanufacturing experience prior to joining Woodgrain Millwork, Inc. in 1991. 

Dave Lindsey
Vice President, Prefinish Operations

 

 

John Smit
Vice President, Window Division

David is the Vice President of the Prefinish Division which finishes and sells moulding and cabinet components.  David is a registered professional engineer and graduated from the University of Utah.  He joined Woodgrain Millwork, Inc. in 1994 and became Vice President in 1998.  He worked for 19 years in the petroleum and chemical industries in engineering and management roles including engineering, operations, and maintenance.    John Smit is Division Vice President for Woodgrain, and in that capacity, also serves as President of Windsor Windows and Doors, with operations in Iowa, North Carolina, and Colorado. John holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Economics, and graduated with honors from the executive MBA program at the University of Iowa in 1989.  He spent 13 years at Pella Corporation in the areas of Operations, Accounting and Sales, and John joined the Woodgrain team in 1989.

Barry Dale
Vice President, MillSource Division

 

 

Barry is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee and holds professional certifications in transportation and logistics management, production and inventory management, and purchasing management. His career, of more than 30 years, in supply chain management, logistics, and distribution began with Eastman Kodak. He led the Global Logistics Division of Eastman Chemical Company, a $6 billion revenue, chemicals and plastics company during their expansion of manufacturing into Asia, South America, and Europe, and during their spin-off from Kodak to an independent public company. Barry served as President and Chief Operating Officer as well as a Founder and Director of Cendian Chemical Logistics, Inc, a logistics company that grew to $600 million revenue, providing full service transportation procurement and execution outsourcing for the global chemicals industry. Working as President of Barry Dale Supply Chain Consulting, Inc, he has filled the role of President, Intercontinental Container Management Division for an emerging Irish company immediately prior to his appointment as President, Woodgrain Distribution.
